The Call button is the most valuable button on your profile.
When someone searches for an agent in their neighbourhood and taps Call, they're not browsing. They're thinking about selling, or they've just been pre-approved, and they want to talk to someone. RealInfoBot makes sure that call gets picked up.
Why these calls matter
A call from your Google profile usually comes from someone nearby, looking for an agent right now, who has already read your reviews. They picked you. If you don't answer, the next agent is one tap away on the same screen.
What RealInfoBot does with them
Picks up every time. Day, night, or when you're in a listing presentation.
Answers what the profile doesn't. Your profile shows your hours and your brokerage. It doesn't say which neighbourhoods you work, whether you help first-time buyers or which of your listings is still available. RealInfoBot does, from what you've told it.
Books on the spot. It offers open times for a listing appointment or a buyer consultation from your Google Calendar while the caller is still on the line.
Doesn't guess at values. A homeowner asking what their house is worth hears that you'll go over that with them, and gets a time to talk. It never gives a price opinion.
Keeps the record Google stopped keeping. Google Business Profile used to show a call history. It doesn't anymore. Every call RealInfoBot answers is in your inbox with the number, the time, a transcript and a summary.
Setting it up
You have two options.
- Forward the number already on your profile. Nothing changes on Google. Calls to your usual number go to RealInfoBot when you choose: all the time, after hours, or when you don't pick up. This is the simplest option and keeps your number consistent everywhere.
- Use a separate RealInfoBot number. Some agents want calls from Google kept apart from sign calls and everything else. That can work, but changing the number on your profile has side effects, so read Google's current guidelines first and keep your main number consistent across the web.
Keep your hours in sync
Your Google hours and RealInfoBot's hours should match. If a caller sees "Open" on Maps and then hears "we're closed", that's a bad start. When you change your hours for a holiday, change both.
Good to know
- RealInfoBot doesn't connect to Google Business Profile directly. It answers the calls your profile sends.
- Messages and booking buttons on Google are separate from phone calls. RealInfoBot doesn't answer those.
- The same goes for listing portals, your brokerage profile and other directories. See Listing portals and directories.
